MOTION Training at the International Sustainability Transitions Conference 2020

Being a transformation agent in practice Developing a transformative theory of change for sustainable systems

This online training event was hosted by EIT Climate-KIC and the Transformative Innovation Policy Consortium (TIPC). Together, they initiated the MOTION-project to develop and test methodologies for systemic change. This training offered an introduction into the TIPC-MOTION methodology and continued with a group work session to help participants enable the transformative potential their project (portfolio) can make in systems change.

During this training participants:

  • Learned how organisations can contribute to transformational change
  • Learned what a Theory of Change for Systems Transformation entails
  • Practiced developing a Transformative Theory of Change
  • Meet other transformation agents and exchange experiences
